Description:  Due to the passing of their parents, the Smoot Brothers have decided to offer the family farms for sale at public auction.  The sale will be held at the American Legion Hall at 520 East Maple St., Shelbina, MO 63468 on November 16, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.  The land is located in two great areas of Shelby County north of Bethel, MO and also northeast of Shelbyville, MO.  These farms have been in the Smoot Family for many years and represent some of the most productive cropland, grassland, and hunting land in the entire county.  The current tenants have cared for these farms at the highest level for many years with a 50/50 crop share arrangement.  This will most likely be the only time that you will see these farms sell during this lifetime as they are quality tracts that anyone would love to have.  The farms will be sold using the buyer’s choice method and will be in six tracts consisting of the following:

10% OF BID PRICE TO BE PROVIDED AS DOWN PAYMENT AUCTION DAY. SALE IS NOT CONTINGENT UPON FINANCING.
